Hi, I’m Marco Duran
I am a cinematographer and editor with over 12 years of professional experience crafting compelling visual stories. My journey began in 2009 at Light House Studio in Charlottesville, VA, where I developed a strong foundation in storytelling that continues to shape my work today.
My portfolio spans music videos, branded and corporate content, and experimental projects, with a particular passion for exploring the unconventional. Whether capturing polished campaigns or offbeat concepts, I focus on authenticity, energy, and impact.
I later moved to Washington, DC, where I worked with Istrico Productions under the mentorship of Anthony Istrico, gaining hands-on experience in agency and corporate filmmaking and a deeper understanding of the production pipeline.
Currently, I’m completing my Bachelor’s degree in Film and Video Studies at George Mason University. I’m driven by continuous growth, creative risk-taking, and telling stories that resonate long after the screen fades to black.
